The sidewalks of John R. were lined with people of all ages, donning happy smiles along with mostly red, white and blue attire for the annual Madison Heights Memorial Day Parade.
The tradition helps welcome warm weather in a patriotic way, but also helps honor Veterans and deceased men and women who served in the armed forces.
