(Lt. William Wilson, Ferndale Police, May 18, 2015)

Recently, telephone / electronic stores have been targeted for burglaries in the area. On April 8th, 5 thieves broke into a Verizon store in Ferndale. They then proceeded to a Verizon store in Berkley and broke in there. At both stores, the culprits broke out storefront windows for entry, ransacked the businesses, and fled on foot. Police are looking to the public for information on the thieves. The burglars appear to be young men of mixed races in their teens to early 20’s.
