Hazel Park Walking Club Each Tuesday Evening Through Sept.

Hazel Park Neighborhood Enrichment is beginning a new Community Neighborhood Walking Club that will meet up on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM at various parks and locations within our city. The purposes are to encourage physical activity for our citizens and build a sense of community as we get to know our neighbors and make new friends strolling through various neighborhoods.
Walking is an “entry-level” form of exercise which can be the first step to help our citizens keep fit. The Walking Club is meant to initially be very informal and will be starting May 5th and go through the end of September.
The kick off will be at Green Acres Park where information will be passed out indicating future meet up locations. For the safety of all adults and children attending, no dogs will be allowed.
Neighborhood Enrichment looks forward to seeing many of you along our walks as we, hopefully, start a new tradition for the citizens of Hazel Park.
