“Our annual display of tulips is a tradition,” said David R. Krall, Vice President, White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery. “We import our tulips directly from Holland. We have a few dozen varieties of tulips including many of the newest tulip bulbs in existence.”
Visitors can expect to see some of the following varieties of tulips on display:
- Giant Orange Sunset – the largest tulip in existence
- Sky High Scarlet – a tall, red, late blooming tulip
- Ballerina – bright orange and very fragrant
“We plant new tulip bulbs each year because we want to expand and enhance our variety of flowers,” said Krall. “We encourage the community to stop by to experience our beautiful display of tulips.”
Once tulip season ends, a beautiful mix of flowers will be planted in the White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery gardens for everyone to enjoy throughout the summer.
