Superintendent Interviews begin Thursday for Hazel Park Schools

The Hazel Park Superintendent Search process continues this week with the first round of interviews scheduled for Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8.
Interviews on these days will be approximately one hour long with a short break in between. The public is invited to observe the interviews and even participate in the process through comment sheets available to members of the audience. Comments will be distributed to board members who are charged with making this most important decision.
The board welcomes and appreciates your input as they go about making this most important decision.
This week’s round will be followed by a second round scheduled for May 13 (6:00 p.m.) and 15 (7:00 p.m.). It is expected that Round 1 will eliminate some of the interviewees and set the stage for finalists in the following week.

May 7
6:00 p.m. – Ed Okuniewski – Deputy Superintendent, L’Anse Creuse
7:10 p.m. – Tim Jalkanen – Superintendent Fenton
8:20 p.m. – Robert Martin – Chief of Staff – Utica Schools
May 8
6:00 p.m. – Terry Barker – Superintendent of Mishawaka Schools (IN)
7:10 p.m. – Nadine Milostan – Exec Director of Student Support Services,
Waterford
8:20 p.m. – Amy Kruppe – Superintendent of Niles
