Fire Destroys Two School Buses, Damages Third in Birmingham

INCIDENT:  04:14 hrs. – City of Birmingham – Assist to the Fire Department / OCSO Fire Investigations Unit Assist # 15-52577
SUMMARY:  The City of Birmingham Fire Marshall requested the assistance of the OCSO Fire Investigations Unit for a fire in the 2200 block of Holland.  The fire was in the school bus yard and involved three buses.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:   Fire Investigators and an Accelerant Detection K-9 Unit responded for a cause and origin investigation. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
UPDATE: According to the Detroit News, two buses were destroyed and one was damaged. Birmingham School District is on Spring Break this week.
