West Bloomfield Michigan Week Committee seeks Hero in You Nominations

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized for their volunteer work? The Greater West Bloomfield Michigan Week Committee is seeking nominations for the Annual Michigan Week Community Awards. If so, community members are encouraged to submit nominations on the Michigan Week website, www.michiganweek.org. This year’s theme is “The Hero In You”.  There are several award categories to honor “the hero” in our local volunteers in Greater West Bloomfield.
All nominations are due by March 20, 2015.
Melanie Torbert, chairwoman of the 2015 Greater West Bloomfield Michigan Week Community Awards Breakfast said: “The Annual Michigan Week Breakfast is an amazing community tradition that has honored hundreds of committed and dedicated adult and student volunteers over the past 43 years. This is a time to recognize and thank our many residents who make our community a desired place to live. You won’t want to miss this year’s event as Stephen Clark, WXYZ TV News Anchor is emceeing the event.”
The Greater West Bloomfield Annual Michigan Week Community Awards Breakfast is set for
Friday, May 15, 2015 at the beautiful Knollwood Country Club, 5050 W Maple Rd, West Bloomfield Township. Tickets can be purchased online and by contacting the West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation office, 4650 Walnut Lake Road, WB at  248-451-1914. Tickets are $25 if purchased by April 10, 2015 and $30 at the door.
