Oxford Twp. Woman Killed in Car Crash

The Crash Reconstruction Unit is assisting Deputies from the Orion Township Substation with the investigation of fatal crash that occurred on Baldwin Road near Indianwood Drive today at 1:30 pm.
Ms. Glenda Bizzotto, a 56 year old resident of Oxford Township was killed when the vehicle she was operating, a 1994 Ford Ranger, which was south on Baldwin Road was struck by a northbound 2010 Jeep Laredo operated by a 60 year old resident of Clarkston.
Ms. Bizzotto was south on the curved section of Baldwin south of Indianwood Drive when she lost control of her vehicle, slid sideways across the center line and into the path of the Jeep Laredo. Ms. Bizzotto was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected through the passenger side door window.
Glanda Bizzotto was transported to McLaren Regional Medical Center in Pontiac by Star EMS where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Jeep was also transported to McLaren Regional Medical Center in Pontiac by the Oxford Township Fire Department where she is in stable condition. A seatbelt was used by the driver of the Jeep.
Alcohol is not a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation.
