Interview with Lucky (video)

Interview with Lucky (video)
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Jan. 15, 2015)
Most people who know Ferndale, know Lucky. He makes rounds to the restaurants and shops, looking for odd jobs and asking people for assistance.  And for those who make the time to talk, Lucky shares stories and good feelings.
After being homeless for three years, Lucky’s luck is beginning to turn around. He credits karma and the love of the Ferndale community. In an impromptu interview this week Lucky talked about how he became homeless, what kind of work he looks for, and what his plans for the future are.
He also talked about his life before finding himself on the street, and what it is like being homeless.
At the age of 51 he’s seen a lot in life, and he shared his gratitude and advice.
