As The Community Outreach Consultant for Community Network Services, Oakland County’s largest, publicly funded mental health care provider, we will be hosting a one-day event for families in Pontiac.

The theme of “NEW DAY, NEW LIFE, AND NEW HOPE” exemplifies the event’s goals of engaging, encouraging, and empowering families. CNS is supporting families in Pontiac by sidebar016growproviding one-day parental involvement, student achievement, mental and physical health care as well as socially supportive workshops and activities.

We will have free continental breakfast and free lunch served to all parents and students. We will also raffle major prizes for students of all ages and parents/guardians (you must attend all morning workshops in order to participate in the raffles).

Our CNS Team of Professionals will be facilitating the workshops with presentations by national award-winning Christian Hip-Hop Artist, Motivational Speaker and Wellness Coach “Ituha Cloud.” The high-flying “Detroit Pistons Flight Crew Dunk Team” will perform for all students gallowaycollens1and Pontiac’s very own Steve Coleman/QTMC will be in the house entertaining and motivating our students like only he can.
