B&E Suspect Smashed Glass at BP with Wrenchnicholas-schrock-allstate

INCIDENT: 03:23 hrs. – City Of Pontiac – Breaking and Entering (B&E) –Business      #15-5941
SUMMARY:  Deputies responded to the 1500 block of S. Opdyke on a B&E Alarm of the BP gas station. Upon arrival, deputies observed that the side door glass had been smashed and there were tire tracks in the snow leaving the area. 
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: An employee arrived and provided video surveillance that revealed the seed06_kat_bruner_jamessuspect using a wrench to smash the glass door of the business. The suspect took cigarettes and money from the cash register.  The suspect vehicle was identified as a white Lincoln Town Car. The vehicle was subsequently located in front of an address on Marshall, near Osmun. Deputies were given permission to enter and search the residence by the home owner. The suspect was located there and taken into custody. Cigarettes from the business were located in the residence. A Detective responded to assist in the investigation.ctechad The suspect was lodged at the Oakland County Jail on the charge of B&E, pending the issuance of a warrant by the Prosecutors Office.
