Ferndale Man Drives into Bus Stop, Killing One Person, Injuring Another

A 23-year-old man has been charged with driving while intoxicated after he crossed several lanes of traffic on Woodward Avenue and crashed into a bus shelter at Euclid Avenue in Detroit, according to Fox 2 Detroit.
The man was driving a red Mercury Cougar at about 9:45am when the accident occurred.
A 40-year-old man who was waiting for the bus was killed. A 22-year-old man, also waiting for the bus, is listed in serious condition with back and neck injuries. The driver is reported to have facial injuries. He had been traveling northbound on Woodward.
