Marijuana Seized in Springfield Township

INCIDENT: 03:12 Hrs. – Springfield Township – Possession with Intent to Deliver (PWID) Marijuana / NET Detective call-out #14-203531
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to a residence located in the 9000 block of King Rd. for a possible breaking and entering. A neighbor could see the garage door partly open and saw someone inside. Deputies located a subject inside the garage wearing a respirator and that advised that he lived at the residence. Deputies noticed a strong smell of marijuana. When deputies went inside the residence with the subject to obtain his identification they could smell an even stronger odor of marijuana and observed large tubs of marijuana. There were 4 other people in the house.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: An OCSO Narcotics Enforcement Team Detective responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. None of the residents were medical marijuana care takers or patients. The approximately 2 pounds of marijuana was seized. A resident suspect was arrested and lodged at the Oakland County Jail on Possession With Intent to Deliver Marijuana charges along with a second male who had an outstanding warrant.

22 year old male resident of Springfield Township
24 year old male resident of Pontiac who had an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver from White Lake Twp. PD
