Senator-Elect Gary Peters Announces Key Staff
(Gary Peters Press Release, Dec. 11, 2014)
Last week, U.S. Senator-elect Gary Peters announced that Elise Lancaster will be his State Director in Michigan and that his current Chief of Staff, Eric Feldman, will continue that role in Peters’ Senate office.
Lancaster, who resides in Dewitt, Michigan, served as Peters’ Chief of Staff during his two terms of service in the Michigan State Senate from 1995-2002. In addition to private sector experience and work with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, she also served as a regional director for U.S. Senator Don Riegle and held several posts in the Granholm Administration, including Director of Constituent Services and Director of Purchasing.
Feldman, a native of Farmington Hills, Michigan, has been Peters’ Chief of Staff during his three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives beginning in 2009. Prior to working for Peters, Feldman served as Policy Director for then-House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel.
“I am pleased to announce that Elise Lancaster will be joining my staff as State Director,” said U.S. Senator-elect Gary Peters. “With Elise’s leadership, my office will deliver excellent constituent services and she will make sure my office is reaching every part of Michigan.”
Peters continued, “I am fortunate to have an experienced Michigan native like Eric Feldman as my Chief of Staff in Washington. Eric cares deeply about Michigan and its residents, and over the last six years, he has proven that he can help me get things done for Michiganders and our middle class families.”
