Ways to Help Boys and Girls Club this Holiday Seasongallowaycollens1
(Brett Tillander, Boys and Girls Club of Oakland and Macomb Co, Dec. 10, 2014)
It’s Holiday Basket time at the Boys & Girls Club and we have numerous club families needing some extra support during this holiday season. Many of you have helped out in the past by “adopting” a family, purchasing items from our “wish list” or making a monetary donation to the program. Your help has impacted families lisa schmidt lawsignificantly in years past and this year presents a unique challenge with all of the flooding in August.
There are a number of ways you can help while picking up some extra items while you’re out shopping:
– donate a gift card
– purchase a coat, hat and/or gloves
– make a monetary donation; $250 will sponsor a family of four with food and presents
– “adopt” a family & get yourself/spouse/children involved in giving back
This program has tremendous local impact. Contact us at http://www.boysandgirlsclubs.us/volunteer/ to get involved. THANK YOU!!candlewickHOLIDAY
