Still All About The Art! 2014 marks the 16th year for The Ridge Fine Art & Handmade Wares Show! And it is still about the art & artists! This isn’t your ordinary art fair, but one that focuses on quality not quantity when it comes to vendors. The long standing vision is to attract a community of artists to share their talent and dedicated customers who really appreciate and support art. If you want to know where to start & finish your Holiday shopping, look no further! The upbeat nature of the show and focus on Michigan artists, buying handmade and keeping the money at home, is a recipe for success.

While at the show customers are encouraged to vote for their favorite artist for a “People’s Choice”

The winning artist receives a cash prize and invitation to show again the next year, while the people who vote get a chance to win MBREW draft oneone of the many donated handmade prizes. There are complimentary snacks to nibble as shoppers stroll about and plenty of free parking.

By combining veterans and newbies to the art scene the event maintains a unique balance. Each year new artists are rotated in to keep shoppers excited to discover something new!

Again, don’t miss the opportunity to support local talent and find amazing unique gift items. You are invited to the Drayton Avenue Presbyterian Church to see for yourself the creative displays and wares that make this venue a little gem not to be missed. Grab a friend or two and share the fun!
