Ferndale’s Read and Ride Promotes Active Learning and Living

Ferndale Schools believes in educating children academically, emotionally, socially AND physically. An active body promotes an active and dynamic mind.
To promote this philosophy, parents and faculty at Roosevelt Elementary started the Read and Ride program, which promotes lifelong wellness while motivating young readers and giving them the tools for academic success. The yearlong drive collected 10 bicycles last spring that were given to Roosevelt students.
This past Tuesday, Read and Ride gave away another seven bicycles. Thank you to everyone who donated.
