Donate Halloween Costumes Friends of Ferndale Library for 2015 FundraiserSahara ad with wine
(press release, Nov. 5, 2014)
Calling all parents, don’t throw those costumes away when Halloween is over. Contact the Friends Of The Ferndale Library and ask about a special costume drive / fundraiser for the library.
Maybe your little ones dressed up as Iron Man or Olaf, a Vampire or a Princess, either way, it’d be a lisa schmidt lawwaste to just throw them away or stuff them away somewhere in the basement. Let the Friends Of The Ferndale Library help you de-clutter your house in time for Thanksgiving by clearing out those (gently) used costumes.
The Friends are FPL’s non-profit booster organization, bolstered by volunteers, working to promote increased knowledge and understanding of the Library’s services and needs, often through community-engaging fundraising events, such as this season’s costume swap.
The Friends are looking for gently used costumes for a planned costume swap prior to next Halloween (2015), to raise funds for the library.
Beginning Sat. Nov. 1, costume donations can be dropped off at the Ferndale Public Library’s Used Bookstore, or, email the Friends (ferndalefriends.org@gmail.com ) to make arrangements for a pick-up.
The Ferndale Library wishes everyone a happy and safe Halloween. And The Friends Of The Ferndale Library thanks everyone for their support of the library.
