Royal Oak Voters Face Decision on Millage and Normandy Oaks

Royal Oak voters will consider two ballot proposals when they go to vote Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Charter Proposal A, if adopted, would authorize up to 2.5 mills for 10 years to maintain, repair and reconstruct Royal Oak streets, roadways and right-of-ways. The Normandy Oaks Park Ordinance, if approved by voters, would authorize selling up to 10 acres of the city-owned golf course to pay for converting the remaining 40 acres into a destination park.
