Hazel Park Zombie Walk is a gathering of the undead to support local food pantries.
Description
Welcome Zombies: To the 6th annual Hazel Park Zombie Walk!
WHAT IS A ZOMBIE WALK, YOU ASK?
It’s when a bunch of zombies roam the streets, creating mild havoc and making a general spectacle 
of themselves. In addition, each walking zombie brings 3 canned good items to be donated to a local food pantry. There will be prizes for best dressed and for largest donation. In 2011 we had almost 500 zombies!
WHY:
Besides having a blast and freaking out the unsuspecting locals? We’ll be walking to raise awareness about world hunger, and to raise food and funds for a local food pantry.
HOW:
We ask that each zombie bring at least 3 cans of food. Even if you are not walking, your canned food will still be appreciated. 
WHAT DO YOU GET FOR YOUR EFFORTS?
Other than the chance to walk with the dead? A chance to feel good for the act of giving food to families in need!
WHEN:
SATURDAY OCTOBER 25TH, 2014 AT 6:30PM
WHERE:
We will meet at Hazel Park City Hall located at the north-east corner of Nine Mile and John R. The walk will start from there and make a huge square and end back at city hall.
