2014 Hilton Fall Festival a Treat for Families

Ferndale Recreation hosted their annual Hilton Fall Festival Saturday, with families from far and near coming to share in the Halloween spirit at Martin Road Park. Kids in colorful costumes enjoyed a hayride, pony rides, a bounce house and a room full of carnival-themed fun. Dozens of pumpkins got painted and a delightful time was had by all. The afternoon ended with trick or treating in the park. The event was headlined by Garden Fresh Salsa, and the SE Oakland Coalition was also there to help promote safe holiday activities.
