Detroit Police Officer Arraigned on Road Rage Charges in Birmingham

Charges have been issued regarding the road rage incident that occurred in Birmingham on Friday, October 3, 2014, where the suspect identified himself as a Detroit Police Officer.
Oscar Joseph Woodcum, age 43, was charged with two counts of Felonious Assault with an alternate charge of Brandishing a Firearm. Mr. Woodcum was arraigned this morning at the 48th District Court with his attorney present. A not guilty plea was entered and Mr. Woodcum was released on a $20,000 cash surety/10% bond. He is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. at the 48th District Court.
