Sean Doerr Photography Talk at Southfield Library Oct 29

The Southfield Public Library will host author and photographer Sean Doerr on Wednesday, October 29 at 6:30 p.m. Doerr will discuss his book, Lost Detroit
Stories Behind the Motor City’s Majestic Ruins, and will share his architectural knowledge and photography of Detroit’s pre-Depression architecture, inside and out, from the infamous abandoned train station, to the fully restored and vibrant Guardian Building. The audience is encouraged to ask questions and share memories about Detroit’s history and future. Copies of Lost Detroit will be available for purchase and signing.
Sean Doerr is a metro-Detroit born and raised photographer that has been following the city for over ten years. With a mission of documenting and preserving Detroit’s architectural past, his collection of photographs encompasses over 70,000 photographs and his spawned a website and book.
