Shooting in Pontiac Injures Teenagernicholas-schrock-allstate

INCIDENT: 0159 Hours- Oct. 5 – City of Pontiac-Shooting # 14-157574
SUMMARY: Deputies were dispatched to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for the report of a shooting victim seeking treatment. Deputies arrived and made contact with the female victim who stated that she was walking in the South End of Pontiac when she was shot, but did not know the exact lisa schmidt lawlocation. The victim was not able to provide Deputies with any information regarding who may have shot her.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:  The victim had been brought into the hospital by her boyfriend who provided very little information as to what happened.  The boyfriend only indicated they were near Tom’s Market in the 500 block of Franklin when they heard shots and victim was hit by the gunfire. The boyfriend became uncooperative with Deputies and no further information was gathered. The victim had entry and exit wounds in both legs. Her wounds are non -life threating.  Deputies responded to and checked the area around Tom’s Market but were unable to locate a crime scene.  Detectives were notified and the investigation continues.
