Red Cross Babysitter Training Class Oct. 11

The American Red Cross will be at the Huntington Woods Recreation Center on Saturday, Oct. 11 to do their newly revised “Babysitters Rock” training course.
The program is for youth aged 11-15.  It contains many hands-on activities, role plays, videos and discussions.  “Learn to be the best babysitter on the block with training in child care and first aid.”
You’ll learn how to
~Care for babies and kids up to 10 years old
~Keep the kids and yourself safe
~Make playtime fun with age-appropriate games
~Handle a wide variety of emergencies
~Manage your babysitting business
The cost is $77 and includes a handbook, reference guide,  CD-ROM, backpack and first aid supplies.  Pre-register at Huntington Woods Recreation Center at 26325 Scotia Road, Huntington Woods.
