Bloomfield Hills’ Eastover Brings in STEM Museum Fun
(Bloomfield Hills Schools, Sept.25, 2014)
The Eastover Elementary gymnasium was transformed into a STEM Museum earlier this month, with multiple stations set up allowing students to take part in activities that taught science, technology, engineering, and math concepts. Some of the activities included programming a robot, pedaling a bicycle to power a generator that flashed colored lights, building an arch out of larger than life blocks, and watching a 3D printer create plastic figurines.
“With multiple activities, the STEM Museum has something for all grade levels and interests. Students are encouraged to explore the museum at their own pace and manage their time between stations that appeal to their individual interests,” a Mobile Ed Productions representative said.
