Sheriff’s Dept. Offers Women’s Self-Defense Classes, Oct.4,11,18 and 25MBREW draft one

In observance of Women’s Self-Defense Month in October, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office will once again offer free self-defense classes for women during the month of October, 2014.
The classes will be held at the Sheriff’s Auburn Hills Complex located at 1690 Brown Rd., Auburn Hills, MI  48346.  The building is located behind the Oakland County Pet Adoption Center.  Each class is four hours in Reid_Sally_115length and the schedule is as follows:
Saturday, October 4 – 9am-1pm
Saturday, October 11 – 9am-1pm
Saturday, October 18 – 9am-1pm
Saturday, October 25 – 9am-1pm
The FREE women’s self-defense classes are sponsored by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the iGroup Model and Talent Agency and the Miss Michigan America Organization.
To register, please email ocso@oakgov.com and indicate which date you would like toseed01_bridget and kevin deegan krause register for, how many people and the names of the individuals you are wishing to register.
Closed-toe shoes are required.  Space is limited.  Written permission is needed for participants 14-18 years of age.
