Madison Heights Seeks Input on Parks Master Plan, Open House Sept. 17

“Make The Parks Your Place Get involved in developing the Master Plan for the Park and Recreation Departments,” invites the Madison Heights City Council.
An Informational Open House will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Council Chambers 300 W. 13 Mile Road beginning at 5:30 pm.
The City is working with Clearzoing, Inc. to come up with a five year Recreation Plan, which they say is “intended to guide existing and future parks and recreation programs, services, facilities, and development for the five‐year term of the Plan.   The Recreation Plan should be viewed as one element of the City’s over‐all long‐range planning efforts.  The recreation planning process includes opportunities for public input.”
To go along with the open house there is an online survey for residents or visitors. This short, 9-question survey will assist the City in future parks and recreation planning. Follow the link below to have your input considered:
