Kids Clothing Swap in Ferndale, All Welcome Sept. 13
(compiled, Sept 12, 2014)
A special kind of clothing swap takes place Saturday in Ferndale to benefit Ferndale Friends of Different Learners Parent Group and Ferndale African American Parent Network.
The swap takes place at Renaissance Vineyard Church, 1841 Pinecrest, Ferndale. Here’s how it works: Drop off your items at 10am on Saturday and purchase a $5 ticket to get back in at noon. The fun, and “shopping” runs from noon to 3pm. Come back and pick out items to take and have fun with Yoga from 1-3, crafts, snacks, henna, mini-pedicures and a raffle. Bring gently used items on hangers, and/or jewelry, shoes, purses, scarves etc.
Ticket is $5 per person, up to $15 per family (so more the fourth child and up are free).
If you have any questions, want to donate , or simply want to volunteer, please comment here and either, Raylon Leaks-May, Ron Owens, Jodi Mackley Berger, Barb Marohn-Landry, Esther McCoy or Pamela Proffitt Parkinson will be happy to assist you.
