Ferndale Police Detective and Auburn Hills Fireman Among Finalist in National Anthem Contest

Who will get to sing the National Anthem at the Sept. 27 Detroit Tiger’s game, and get a $10,000 grant for their department? In the Comerica Bank’s Home of the Brave National Anthem Singing Contest, there are seven finalists who are depending on your votes!
Among the contenders is Ferndale Police Detective Brendan Moore and Auburn Hills Firefighter Rod Wynn.
Metro Detroit police, firefighters/EMTs, military members were invited to participate. Votes are gathered through the Comerica Cares Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ComericaCares/app_403834839671843.
The page features video of the brave service people singing their hearts out for their Country and for the chance to help their community with the grant. In addition to the grant they win 35 tickets to the game and the chance to sing for the crowd.
As of Tuesday night, Moore is in third place and Wynn is in sixth.
