Safe Baby Class in Pontiac Sept. 4

Safe Baby University will be visiting McLaren Oakland Thursday, September 4th, 9:30am – 2:30pm in the Corporate Auditorium. The Safe Baby University course is free to participants and is sponsored by Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Kohl’s and United Healthcare. This class is for expectant mothers of at least 28 weeks and is designed to educate mothers on how to reduce risks and cultivate a safe environment for their newborn infant. Topics include:
~child passenger safety
~safe sleep
~coping with a crying baby
~infant nutrition
~fire and burn safety
After successful completion of the course, mothers receive a free child passenger safety seat. Individuals can register online at www.mclaren.org/events and entering course title Safe Baby or by calling community education at 248-338-5460. Please review the attached flyer and distribute to interested participants at your convenience.
