Beautiful Day for 2014 Hazel Park Art Fair

The Hazel Park Art Fair kicked off Saturday with beautiful weather, cheerful visitors, and an amazing variety of local artists.  The event took place in Green Acres Park, under the canopy of many large trees.  Among the featured artists were Darnel L. Williams who made color-changing art that transformed depending on the angle, Tiffani Moffitt of 9 Degrees Emporium with skull-shaped candles and other wares, and Heather Marie of Kozy Kouture who makes wearable fashion out of up-cycled clothing.  Country Boy Restaurant was on hand with hotdogs, steak sandwiches, veggie burgers and other yummy foods, and a keg was there for grown ups to enjoy.  Kids enjoyed the playground equipment while their parents looked at art, and everyone enjoyed the local bands that set the mood through the day.  To learn more check out www.hazelparkartfair.com.
