(FPL Press Release, Aug. 22, 2014)
Let go of your stress at the Ferndale Public Library’s free meditation class on Aug. 27. Isha Foundation, an international non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating human potential, brings a simple, yet powerful 15-minute practice to the library for this special event. No previous meditation experience is necessary for this practice which creates enhanced clarity, improved health and a state of peacefulness and joy. No registration is required. The program begins at 6:30 PM and will be held in the library’s Community Room.
This event is just one of many wellness-centered programs that the library has featured over the last few years. Yoga, Tai Chi in the Courtyard and a class on lactofermentation have all enjoyed great attendance and rave reviews from Ferndale Library patrons.
