Franklin and Bingham Farms Experience Break Ins

The usual quiet around Bingham Farms and Franklin was broken recently.  The Police Department has issued the following information:
On Thurs July 31 on Brooks Lane, Bingham Farms (off 12 Mile Rd), at approximately 1-1:30pm, a rear basement pedestrian door was kicked in and entrance gained.  Items taken were a 32″ tv, jewelry and loose change.
On Thurs July 31 on Woodside, Franklin. This home is currently vacant as it is in the process of changing owners.  Current homeowners returned at 4pm to find that the rear sliding patio door was removed from its track and entry gained.  Nothing was taken.
On Friday Aug 1, at approximately 8:30am, a worker at Noodles&Co, 30130 Telegraph discovered damage to a door.  It apparently happened overnight, sometime after 11:30pm.  The doorjamb was severely damaged but still intact so that suspects were not able to gain entry.  Unknown if alarm was active.
These cases are under investigation and additional patrol is underway.  Please call police dispatch (248.626.5444) should you see anything out of the ordinary.
