Suspected Wanted in Birmingham Mobil Gas Station Robbery
(Birmingham Police, July 24, 2014)
At 9:45 p.m. on July 20, the Mobile Gas Station at 101 East 14 Mile Road was robbed. An unknown amount of cash was stolen and there were no injuries.
The lone suspect entered the gas station and ordered an employee to the ground. He was armed with a semi-automatic hand gun. He took the cash and fled on foot through the back door.
He is described as a white male, 45-50 years old with gray hair. He was wearing a black hoodie, a mask covering his nose and mouth, dark-rimmed glasses, shorts and black tennis shoes. He is approximately 5’7”–5’8” and 180-200 pounds.
Officers are reviewing surveillance cameras, which captured an image of the suspect. Citizens with any information about the robbery are asked to contact Detective Jerry Hall at (248) 530-1891.
