A witness observed suspects exit the store and walk east on Twelve Mile and then south on John R. The suspects moved two employees and a customer to a storage room, placed duct tape over their eyes, and taped their hands behind their backs. At least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of currency from the cash register and approximately 50 cell phones before they fled the store in an unknown direction.”
Clemens said none of the victims were injured in the incident. Troy Police responded to the scene to assist with their K-9. The track led to the area of Benjamin and Woodward where it is believed they entered a vehicle and left the area.
It is still unclear if the three robberies are related. This article will be updated as more information becomes available.
