Police Report: Machete Used in Robbery

INCIDENT: 22:19 hrs. May 7- City of Pontiac- Armed Robbery #14-066618
SUMMARY: Two victims walked into the Pontiac Substation and stated they had been robbed. One of the victim’s stated they picked up a female acquaintance that called him and asked for a ride to the store.The female directed them to an alley near the intersection of Oliver and Hammond to pick another person. The victim stated when they parked their two black males armed with a machete approached them and demanded money. They told the suspects that they had no cash. The victim stated one of the suspects 
entered their car and found his debit card in his wallet and demanded they drive to the ATM and withdraw money. After withdrawing the money ($200.00) from the ATM at Baldwin and Yale the suspects left the area in a white pick-up truck.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: Deputies took the victims back to Oliver and Hammond to look for evidence. The victim pointed out a truck they believed the suspects were using. A machete was seen in plain view inside the truck. The owner of the truck was located at an address on Oliver and was identified by the victims as one of the suspects. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Pontiac Substation to be interviewed by detectives. An evidence tech processed the scene. The truck was in impounded and the machete was ten as evidence. The suspect was lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending issuance of a warrant for armed robbery. One of the victim’s stated that he tried to run away but was chased down and 
tackled and was physically assaulted by one of the responsibles. Investigation continues and the 2nd and 3rd suspects are still being sought.
VICTIM, SUSPECT or ARRESTEE INFORMATION: (Arrestee): 26 year old male resident of Pontiac. (Suspect 2): 18 year old male 5’11” thin build dark complexion (Suspect 3): 15 year old black female. (Victim 1): 33 year old male resident of Pontiac. (Victim 2): 18 year old male resident of Pontiac.
