(Crystal A. Proxmire, May 1, 2014)
An unidentified man is hospitalized after being shot several times on Wednesday at about 11:30 pm by a man who came to the front door of a Bloomfield Hills home claiming to be a police officer, according to The Oakland Press.
Bloomfield Hills Public Safety Director David Hendrickson told the Oakland Press the man was in stable condition after surgery, and that the department is not yet ready to release information on the victim.
“What we’re doing is focusing all our resources on this investigation, and we hope to have more information in the near future,” Hendrickson told The Oakland Press. “We’re currently just concentrating all our energy on this investigation and spending less energy worrying about publicly talking about it right now.”
The publication has looked into property records and provided personal information about who may be the alleged victim as well as what block he lived on in Bloomfield Hills.
