SMART Bus Driver Hits Light Pole in Birmingham

On Tuesday afternoon a SMART Bus Driver who had been involved in an accident earlier in the day, hit a 
light pole and electrical pole in Birmingham, causing major damage to both.
According to the Birmingham Eccentric, the 55-year-old bus driver had been turning right from Woodward onto Elm when he turned too tight and hit the poles.
Earlier that day his bus had been broadsided by a driver at 14 Mile and Woodward.
After the Birmingham accident the driver was taken to Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital in case they may have had a medical condition.
