Purse Snatching and Possible Heroin Possession in Orion Twp.

INCIDENT:  19:00 hrs. March 31, 2014 – Orion Township Purse Snatching / Narcotics Enforcement Team Assist   #14-046567
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the Kroger Store in the 400 block of N. Lapeer Rd for a purse snatching complainant. No injury was reported.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:   Upon arrival witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspects who fled the scene on foot. The suspects were later located at an address in the 50 block of N. Shore in the Village of Lake Orion where they were taken into custody without incident. A detective from N.E.T. was requested to assist due to the large amount of narcotic paraphernalia and a white powdery substance believed to be Heroin located at the time of the arrest. A detective responded to interview the suspects. After the interview the suspects were transported to and lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending issuance of a warrant. Investigation continues.
VICTIM, SUSPECT or ARRESTEE INFORMATION: (S1): 30 year old male resident of the Village of Lake Orion. (S2): 23 year old male resident of the Village of Lake Orion. (Victim): 27 year old female resident of the Village of Lake Orion.
