Possible Heroin Overdose Death in Pontiacmoderntax

INCIDENT:  12:41 hrs. March 16 – City of Pontiac Possible Overdose Death  #14-038543

SUMMARY:  Deputies responded to the 900 block of Kettering Ave for a report of subject with trouble breathing.

OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:   Upon arrival deputies spoke to the complainant who advised that his friend who was over visiting and passed out while they were talking. The complainant stated that his friend was a heroin user.  STAR EMS responded and transported the subject to McLaren Hospital where sidebar01sponsorhe went into cardiac arrest.  The medical staff was able to regain a pulse and transferred the subject to the ICU.   A Deputy returned to the residence to secure the scene.  Substation detectives were notified and responded to assist with the investigation. Information is that the subject died a short time later. Detectives were notified and the investigation continues.
