Mummified Body Found in Pontiac Garagemoderntax

INCIDENT: 17:09 hrs. March 5– City of Pontiac Death Investigation – #14-032661
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 1600 block of Savanna for a deceased person in a vehicle.               
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: Upon arrival deputies spoke to the complainant who is an employee of a property management company doing work for the bank that owns the home which has been apparently been foreclosed. 
The complainant entered the home and conducted a walk through and upon entering the attached garage observed nicholas-schrock-allstatea vehicle with what appeared to be a body in a mummified state in the back seat.  The license plate on the vehicle expired in 2008.
The complainant stated he left the residence and called 911 for assistance.  Deputies spoke to neighbors who stated they thought the female who lived there had moved out of the country three or more years ago because they had not seen her and she kept to herself.
Detectives and OCSO Forensic Lab responded to the scene along with the Medical Examiner’s office to assist with the investigation.  The Medical Examiner took custody of the deceased pending an autopsy.  The home has what appears to be black mold and detectives will be going into the house on Thursday with proper hazardous material suits provided by the Waterford Twp. Regional Fire Department and assisted by the FD. The electricity was still on in the house but there was no heat. Investigation continues. 
VICTIM, SUSPECT or ARRESTEE INFORMATION: (Deceased):  Believed to be a 49 year old female last known address above.  An autopsy was performed on Thursday morning by the ME and there is no trauma to the body and cause of death is pending.  ID has still not been made.
