Gas Station Clerk in Troy Killed Saturday

Troy Police are investigating the death of an elderly Rochester man who was working behind the counter of the Clark gas station at Rochester Road and South Blvd on Saturday.
The man was found dead Saturday afternoon with a single gunshot wound to the head. Customers found him on the ground behind the counter around 1:30 pm.
Reports state that nothing appears to be missing and there is no sign of a struggle. Police are asking anyone who may have been there between 11am and 1:30 pm Saturday to contact them and share anything they may have seen. Surveillance video is being reviewed.
Troy was recently named the safest city in Michigan.
