Larceny from an Automobile
600 block of Woodlawn, 2-4-14 – 2-5-14, 11:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.: Complainant parked his vehicle on the street near his residence. When he returned to his truck he discovered an unknown suspect stole miscellaneous tools from the truck’s bed. 14-4053

300 block of E. Lawrence, 19-9-14 – 12-14-14, 12:22 p.m. – 2:22 p.m.: Complainant reported she hired a contractor to perform work at her residence. When the job was completed she discovered a jewelry box containing miscellaneous jewelry was stolen from the residence. 14-3346
Malicious Destruction of Property
Normandy and Delemere (CN Railway Overpass), 1-30-14, 2:07 p.m.: A Royal Oak officer observed graffiti spray painted on the CN Railway overpass walls. 14-3356
1600 block of W. Farnum, 1-31-14 – 2-1-14, 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Complainant parked his vehicle on a street near his moderntaxresidence. When he returned to his vehicle he discovered an unknown suspect broke the windshield with a liquor bottle. 14-3610
1600 block of W. Farnum, 1-31-14 – 2-1-14, 9:45 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Complainant parked her vehicle in the driveway of her residence. When she returned to her vehicle she discovered an unknown suspect broke the rear windshield with a champagne bottle. 14-3607
1700 block of Gardenia, 2-1-14, 7:42 a.m.: Complainant reported he heard someone banging on his apartment door. When he went to the door he discovered an unknown suspect had kicked the door to his apartment several times causing significant damage.

110 S. Main (Leo’s Coney Island), 2-6-14, 2:00 a.m. – 3:47 a.m.: Complainant parked his vehicle in the parking lot in the rear of the business. When he returned he discovered an unknown suspect damaged the passenger side window. 14-4141

4100 block of W. Thirteen Mile, 2-4-14, 2:00 a.m.: Royal Oak officers responded to a report of a female stabbed with a knife in the 4100 block of W. Thirteen Mile. When officers arrived on the scene, the victim came to the door and advised the officers she was stabbed in the leg by her boyfriend. She told the officers he was inside sleeping on the floor.
Officers entered the apartment and located the suspect. The suspect, Royal Oak resident
Antwan Cargile, was arrested for Felonious Assault after a brief struggle.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and was released from the hospital later that morning.
On Wednesday, February 5, 2014, Antwan Demetrus Cargile, was arraigned in the 44th District Court before Honorable Judge Terrence Brennan. Cargile was charged with one (1) count of Felonious Assault. His bond was set at $15,000.00. His next hearing date is scheduled for February 7, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. 14-3912
734 S. Washington (Hookah Joes), 1-30-14, 2:37 a.m.: Complainant was preparing to leave the business and started his Toms Custom Painting Advehicle to warm it up. He left it running, unlocked and went back inside the business. He checked on his vehicle a few minutes later and observed an unknown suspect driving his vehicle southbound on Washington.
A Royal Oak officer quickly located the vehicle on northbound Woodward, near Catalpa, and stopped it. The driver, a 24-year-old Bloomfield resident, was arrested for Unlawfully Driving Away an Automobile. He is expected to be arraigned in the 44th District Court tomorrow morning.
Update:
On Friday, January 31, 2014, William Lymperis was arraigned in the 44th District Court before Honorable Judge Derek Meinecke. Lymperis was charged with one (1) count of Unlawfully Driving Away an Automobile. His bond was set at $5,000.00. His next hearing date is scheduled for February 14, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. 14-3300
