Ferndale Police Report: Woman Robbed at Knife-pointStreet-Eatzz-Ad

On Monday, January 20, 2014 a 52 year old Ferndale woman reported that shortly before 7:00 p.m. she was robbed at knife point. The woman said that she had been in the Ferndale Library and walking home. Near the corner of Paxton south of Vester she was attacked by a man who stuck a knife in her back. The man threatened to cut her if she did not give him all of her money.
The woman complied and the robber then ran away on foot.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: The victim described the Suspect as a B/M wearing all black. He had a thick ctechadparka type jacket with a hood wrapped tightly around his head and face. He was dark skinned and clean shaved. She could not give me an approximate height or weight.
She described the knife as a pocket knife.
