Larceny from an Automobile
2800 block of Woodslee, 1-7-14 – 1-8-14, 7:00pm – 8:00am: Complainant reported she parked her vehicle in the parking lot. When she returned she discovered an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from her 2002 Pontiac Aztek. 14-1177
3300 block of Greenfield, 1-8-14 – 1-10-14, 5:00pm – 1:00pm: Complainant reported she parked her vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex. When she returned to her vehicle she discovered an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from her 2001 Chevy Cavalier. 14-1018
Malicious Destruction of Property
3300 block of Greenfield, 1-10-14, 4:00pm – 6:41pm: Complainant reported she parked her sharon chess thank youvehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex. When she returned she discovered an unknown suspect broke out the driver’s side rear window of the vehicle. 14-1053
400 block of N. Washington, 1-13-14 – 1-14-14, 6:00pm – 8:00am: Complainant reported he parked his vehicle on the roadway. When he returned he discovered the hood and windshield were damaged. A small propane tank was located near the vehicle and appeared to be used to damage the car. 14-1512

111 W. Twelve Mile (City Motel), 1-13-14, 2:12am: Royal Oak officers conducted a motel check and located a subject with a felony warrant for Possession of Dangerous Drugs and a Misdemeanor Warrant for Operating While Intoxicated. The subject was arrested without incident. 14-1381
30776 Woodward (Sagamore Motel), 1-12-14, 4:02pm: Royal Oak officers conducted a motel check and located a subject with a warrant for a parole violation. The subject was on parole for Fleeing and Eluding a police officer, Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property and Check Fraud. The subject was arrested without incident. 14-1302
800 block of Knowles, 1-9-14, 10:08am: Officers observed a subject, known to have a suspended drivers license, driving a vehicle in the area of E. Sixth Street and Knowles.sidebar011beesponsor
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, he fled from them to his home on the 800 block of Knowles. When he arrived at his residence he ran into the house, locked the doors and refused to come out. The Criminal Investigations Division is seeking charges for Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer and Driving While License Suspended second offense. 14-884
221 E. Third Street (Police Department), 1-15-14, 1:47pm: A registered sex offender reported to the police department to update his status. During the process it was determined the subject failed to report changes in his residency status and update the vehicles registered to him. This is a requirement of the sex offender registry law. The subject was arrested for non-compliance. 14-1632

During the process it was determined the subject failed to ctechadreport changes in his residency status and update his employment record. The subject was arrested for failing to perform the reporting requirements under the sex offender registry law. 14-1420
25352 Woodward (L.A. Fitness), 1-10-14, 5:15pm – 6:00pm: Complainant reported she parked her vehicle in the covered parking area of the lot. When she returned she discovered an unknown suspect broke out the driver side rear window and stole her purse, prescription medication and a jacket.
Officers reviewed the surveillance video of the parking area. A subject was captured on video near the victim’s vehicle. He was observed leaving the area in a 1992 to 1997 dark colored Ford Crown Victoria. The suspect is a heavy set black male with a dark complexion, 6’00”, 200 lbs, wearing a blue sweatshirt, black sweat pants and a green winter coat.
