Downtown Rochester shows off their holiday spirit each year with The Big, Bright Light Show.  Over a million points of light are strung on the buildings of the gallowaycollens1downtown shopping area to encourage visitors to the area.

The lights were lit December 2 and will remain on through January 5, each evening from 5pm to midnight.  The display is, in part, underwritten by DTE Energy and Lincoln of Troy.  Other businesses are sponsors as well, including Anderson, Eckstein & Westrick, sidebar01sponsorBeier Howlett, P.C., Bloomingdale Construction, Century 21 Sakmar & Associates, WXYZ Channel 7, Dillman & Upton, Haig’s of Rochester Fine Jewelry, Johnson & Anderson, Main Street Deli, Meijer,  Moon River Soap Company, Oakland University, O’Connor’s Public House, Penn Station East Coast Subs, Pino Insurance Agency, Rizzo Environmental Services, Inc., Rochester Hills Mirror & Glass, Inc., Studio One Salon, Mr. B’s and Spalding DeDecker Associates.
