Oakland Township Hunter Lost and Found

INCIDENT:  12:41 hrs, 10-17-13 – Oakland Township Lost Hunter   #13-160684

SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the area of Lake George Rd. and Predmore Rd. to search a wooded area for a hunter lost in the woods. The hunter called 911 and stated that he was tired, had fallen several times and could not walk any further.

OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:   Sgt. A. Spencer was on scene and requested the OCSO Aviation Unit respond to assist with searching the area for the lost hunter. The Aviation Unit along with an OCSO K9 was notified and were responding to the area. OCSO also had deputies on foot searching the area. Update: Per Sgt. Spencer the OCSO deputies on foot were able to locate the hunter. Information is other than suffering from scratches on his hands and legs the hunter was fine and refused medical treatment. OCSO Aviation Unit and K9 were cancelled prior to their arrival.

SUBJECT INFORMATION: (Hunter) – 67 year old male, Sterling Heights resident.
