Woman and Kids Crash after Vehicle Shot in Pontiacsidebar01reader_support

INCIDENT:  10:29 hrs. – City of Pontiac – Shots Fired / Assault   #13-157403

SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the area of N. Sanford and Michigan for shots fired at a vehicle that caused the driver to crash. No injury was reported.

OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:    Upon arrival information is the vehicle was occupied by a female and two children. gallowaycollens1No injury due to crash or gun shots was reported. The victim was able to provide a vehicle description occupied by three males to responding units. An OCSO Detective spotted the vehicle and along with a marked OCSO patrol unit was able to stop the suspect vehicle. A suspect fled the vehicle on foot and was reported to be in possession of a hand gun. After a short foot pursuit the suspect was taken into custody. A gun was recovered near the scene. Det/Sgt. requested the OCSO Forensic Lab respond to assist with processing the scene. All suspects were transported to the Pontiac Substation to be interviewed by Detectives. Responsible was identified and lodged at Oakland Co Jail pending his arraignment.
