Hilton Fall Festival Oct. 5 in Ferndale

The Annual Hilton Fall Festival takes place this year at Martin Road Park in Ferndale. Hosted by the Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce and Ferndale Recreation, the event features kid’s games and activities, pony rides, hay rides, inflatable play areas, and costume contests.
The event takes place Oct. 5 from 10am to 5pm in and around the Curling Club inside Martin Road Park. In previous years the festival took place on Hilton, but it was moved to avoid shutting down the street.
The cost is 
$5/child (ages 3 to 15) for an all-inclusive wristband*, $2/adult (16+). Two and under are free. Money raised support Ferndale Recreation and Ferndale Area Chamber activities.
Volunteers are needed for the event. Shifts are 2.5 hours long and can include manning ticket booths, inflatables, set up and tear down. Those interested in learning more or helping out for the day, can contact Katie at Katie@ferndalechamber.com or 248-542-2160.
The tentative schedule is:
10:00am – 5:00pm – Kids’ activities, inflatables & interactive games, hayrides, concession sales, and more
11:00am – 3:00pm – Pony rides
12:45pm – 1:45pm – Potato sack races 
2:00pm – Kids costume contest
4:40 pm – Trick or treating along the haunted trail
5:00pm – Clean up begins
